November Tarotscope: Elements
Happy Scorpio season my loves! The sun is setting significantly earlier, the temperatures are dropping, and we’re going deeper within for comfort. Scorpio is known for unearthing and for digging deep. Recognizing how we fight and how we find/challenge/assert power. How do we transform once we know all this information? Is there something you need to purge this month? Investigate all that comes to mind. That’s what this time is for. What can you learn from all of this? Look at the ways these revelations affect your ability to be in a relationship with yourself and others. What do they say about your spirit? Are there narratives that you can do away with? All this work is exhausting and not easy, but it is necessary. This month, I asked my cards what to reflect on. Understand that this work may bring up discomfort or hurt, but the Sun in Scorpio supports and encourages this.
For these tarot messages, I used the Neo Tarot deck. Illustrated by Daiana Ruiz, its accompanying book was written by Jerico Mandybur. Daiana Ruiz is a visual artist and illustrator based out of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Jerico Mandybur is a tarot reader, spiritual coach, and bestselling author. Neo Tarot fuzes illustrations of androgynous humans with card interpretations, affirmations, and self-care tips corresponding to their respective cards.
For this month’s tarot forecast, I’m pulling one card for each element: Earth, Air, Water, and Fire. Read the element that corresponds to your sun sign and rising sign if you feel called to. To find out your natal chart information, CafeAstrology has a pretty comprehensive beginner’s chart interpretation, though I highly recommend consulting your local astrologer to get a natal chart reading done. Novaa Network has a great directory to search through!
Fire: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius
Air: Libra, Aquarius, Gemini
Earth: Capricorn, Virgo, Taurus
Water: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces
8 of Wands
This month’s 8 of Wands wants you to reflect on how fast you’re going. Where are you in pursuit of your goals? This card indicates progress in those plans. Things are running smoothly and you can expect completion fast approaching. The vision is clear and action has been taken. Now we wait for results (and reflect on the swiftness with which we struck). This takes a great deal of energy, so make sure you’re replenishing as needed! The 9 of Wands follows this card, and if we’re not careful to calibrate, we may work ourselves into a freeze or frenzy. Think of it as a disco nap–gotta rest up before all that excitement and movement.
5 of Swords (reversed)
I’m not gonna lie, no matter what position the 5 of Swords is in, it sucks. This card points to deceit, shady behavior, and conflict, to name a few. This month, you’re asked to reflect on recent/past situations that come to mind as you read this. If there’s any reconciling to do, get to it before it’s too late. Make sure all parties are consenting to this. Repair or reconciliation cannot happen if everyone involved isn’t committed to it. If this isn’t the case, then focus on yourself. Know that people have their own ego shit going on. The only one you can keep in check is yours. Grieve if you need to. Know your place and make your peace. It’s about honesty and transparency. Know where your principles lie and how you’ve come to embody them. How will you walk away from all this?
9 of Cups
How do you bring joy, peace, and satisfaction to yourself? This month, refresh those practices if needed. Reflect on how fortunate you’ve been. Perhaps implementing a gratitude practice is what’s needed. This card’s appearance acknowledges how hard you’ve been working, and how deserving you are. What or who brings you emotional satisfaction? What internal lessons have you learned in these reflections that can you offer your loved ones? This card is like a wish granting card: emotional fulfillment is here/near! Reflect on how things have been aligning for you this month, internally and externally. Most importantly, celebrate yourself. Allow happiness and joy to wash over you. As your body and ability allow you to, engage in some carefree movement; do a lil’ dance.
The Chariot is a vehicle/vessel for success. It represents the start of a journey. One that could be very successful given that humility is maintained throughout the course. This month asks you to reflect on your game plan. Focus on finding your center. As an air sign, reflect on your ability to adapt. Even if you have a plan, unexpected twists always arise. Where do you find strength in your purpose? Is it in your confidence, determination, and willpower? Every captain must pay attention to the condition of their ship. Make sure you tune into your body and are resting and replenishing as needed. Take your car or mode of transportation in for a tune up. Take stock of your tools and their condition. Express gratitude to these vessels for the service they provide, for the ways you use them and are in relationship with them.
