This time of year is truly magical! A time when abundance flows naturally and Mother Nature gives us so much to be thankful for. Mabon is the second Sabbat (holiday) on the Pagan Wheel of the Year and is when day and night are perfectly balanced and equal. Light is equal to dark. Yin equal to Yang.
Showing thanks and gratitude during this time is essential. Giving gratitude for our friends, our family, our community, and all the blessings that we experience in this life, the last, and our lives to come does wonders to our well being. During this time, it is important that we not only focus on the abundance within our lives, but honor the Source/God/the Universe for providing such beauty in this world.
Gratitude and balance are both extremely important to practice. They help with everything from finding happiness to our mental health, and even learning to truly love ourselves. Finding activities and tools that help us achieve balance and practice gratitude can be life changing.
As we honor the natural abundance of Mother Earth, we also praise the balance of the energies on Earth. This is a powerful time to set intentions that focus on decreasing, reducing, and letting go of what no longer serves you, as well as finding your balance. By listening to your intuition, you may be called to end bad habits, self-destructive beliefs and patterns. Sometimes, that means letting go of relationships and friendships that have been harmful to you.

GRATITUDE RITUAL
During this ritual, the goal is to slow down your mind, tap into your bodily sensations and become fully aware. Through practicing this ritual, you will be able to connect more deeply with yourself, your friends, your community, and with your Source. It is through practicing gratitude that we are able to shift into alignment with our purpose and our highest self, and zoom out and see all the blessings that are in our lives.
By being present in the moment and allowing yourselves to feel gratitude deep within your bones and your cells, you can effortlessly align and flow with your true purpose and soul’s mission.
RITUAL INTENTION:
To feel gratitude on a cellular level
Step 1:
Make yourself some herbal tea. We recommend Self Centered hemp infused hibiscus tea.
A balanced blend of herbs like rose hip and elderberries to infuse your body with antioxidants, as well as chamomile and hibiscus will help you flow into a state of zen. The Self Centered Tea is a blend of CBD and adaptogens, making it the perfect choice for balancing the body and mind, as well as for sipping on throughout this ritual.
Step 2:
Find a comfortable and safe space where you can have a moment to yourself. Get settled in, comfortable, and then envision covering yourself and the space in a beautiful healing and protective white light. Let the light shine over you and your space to cleanse and shield you.
Step 3:
Ground into your body. Ground into the present moment.
Name:
- 5 things you see
- 4 things you feel
- 3 things you hear
- 2 things you smell
- 1 thing you taste
Step 4:
In your journal, begin to list out all the things you are thankful for. Write about everything from the small things in life, all the way to your friends, family, a roof over your head, somewhere to sleep, etc. Keep the list going as long as you want!
Step 5:
Review the list and pick the top 7 things that make your body tingle when you read and think about them. Pick the things that you are so grateful for you can’t help but be overcome with joy.
Step 6:
Light your Muse CBD Spliff and take a few puffs. While you’re puffing your BARBARI Muse Spliff, focus on allowing yourself to feel grateful on a cellular level, and take 3 intentional deep breaths without smoking.
Once you have taken those breaths (without smoking), say out loud to yourself, “I am allowing myself to feel gratitude at a cellular level”, then inhale your Muse spliff.
Hold for a second.
On the exhale, say out loud, “I am releasing what no longer serves me.”
Repeat that three times.
Step 7:
Go back to your list of 7 things that make your body tingle with gratitude. For each of those items, focus on it, allow your mind to feel the gratitude and allow that gratitude to flow into your cells. Once you have sat with it, say out loud, “I am grateful for….”
Do this for each of the seven items on your list, starting each time with, “I am grateful for…”.
Step 8:
Once you have gone through your list, repeat to yourself:
- “I am grateful for all that I have”
- “I am grateful for all that I am”
- “I am grateful for all that is on its way”
Repeat x 3
It is important to remember, we all have an innate power and the ability to tap into our abundant ancestral magic. It just takes practice, patience, and self love. So be patient with yourself and be patient with the process. And if you’re ever feeling out of balance or off, remember that gratitude is the attitude and you have the ability to access it all!
