March brings us Pisces season, the Spring equinox, and the start of the astrological new year. Where were you last Spring? What were you working on? Reflect on and recognize the growth that’s happened since then. Use the lessons and experiences from this past year to influence how you contemplate on what seeds to plant. As I was shuffling, the Sun card fell out. Spring will feel like a joyful awakening after a long winter as the sun beams down onto budding flowers. Spend time under this glow and let it warm you. The Ace of Wands and Ace of Cups also showed up: something new awaits. There is so much potential for passion, excitement, motivation, creativity, emotional and spiritual growth. Relationships (sexual and platonic), home, and work life will deepen and become more harmonious. Success is promised if the work is put in. The cards this month are asking y’all to get to work and celebrate your progress. The foundations built now will be lasting and strong if you commit to maintaining them.

The Elements

Fire 🜂
3 of Wands & Wheel of Fortune
Spring is so ripe for fire signs. The 3 of Wands gives a burst of creativity and the impulse to get to work. It’s encouraging you to continue building your world, so envision what this next phase of your life is going to look like. The Wheel of Fortune (card #10) is here to assure you that no matter how you spin the wheel, it’s going to turn in your favor. Regardless of where it lands, it will be an experience. What comes from the wheel is fated. Much like the vibrations of #10, it speaks to karmic cycles playing out. It also shouldn’t stop you from having fun in the process. Notice how both people on the cards are looking forward and calm? Stay grounded, centered, and focused on your vision. What are you passionate about? Start from there, and be intentional. This new chapter will teach you a lot about dedication and patience, but the expansion is so worth it.

Air 🜁
Knight of Pentacles & The Star
That which you commit to right now should be done carefully, methodically, and planned. The Knight of Pentacles is a slow and steady worker. This card asks you to fully commit to your vision. Hash out your work plan. How will these seeds you plant bring hope and renewal? The Star card is a beacon. Your work isn’t done in vain. Both of these cards emphasize a commitment to working for more than just you. They emphasize working for those most marginalized. Longevity is the key word here. The water on the Star card is cyclical and continual. There is potential for this to be deep, transformative and healing work; a well of providing. It all depends on your will, commitment, and discipline. You’re deeply supported by the Star, so et it inspire you to do better and work towards dismantling systems that try to keep Black, brown, indigenous, queer and trans people oppressed.

Water 🜄
9 of Swords & High Priestess
Sweet babes… the 9 of Swords highlights a time filled with anxiety. What’s keeping you up at night, or keeping you closed off from yourself and/or the world? The High Priestess encourages you to spend time in meditation and stillness, and find some balance. Reconnect with your spirit, your remembered self. What rituals or self care activities can you do to feel more connected to your soul ? Start there and ask for help if you need it. Consider taking a spiritual bath or having some energetic healing done. It’s natural to feel disconnected right now. However, taking care of your physical and spiritual body is key to moving through and letting go of some of this grief. Clarity on which seeds to sow this spring, and how, will come. Trust your gut. Take the time to step back into your power. Validate your intuition and quiet your mind. The answers you seek will be revealed in time.

Earth 🜃
The Lovers, The Tower, 2 of Pentacles
This spring, you’re being asked to make deeply important decisions. The seeds you plant now will have the potential to be something very big. The 2 of Pentacles appears to remind you of the need for carefully weighing all your options before making decisions. The Lovers and Tower card also point to potential shifts in relationships, whether with yourself or others. Who and what are you bringing with you into spring? Is the soil fertile? Is the garden box stable? This is a period of transformation and adjustments. Leave behind people, things, sentiments, thought patterns, and behaviors that leave you feeling unsteady. Commit only to what is sustainable. That which is unstable/unbalanced will quickly be revealed and removed. Focus on your main priorities: how much are you juggling? Remain flexible as you contemplate these choices, and stay in control of your emotions and responses. It’s going to be okay, you got this.
