We made it to the end of 2020. I’m just as baffled by this as you are – but we’re here. Feeling the pull of Sagittarius season, getting deeper into eclipse season, awaiting the winter solstice and grand conjunction between Saturn and Jupiter on the 21st: It’s undeniable that December’s energy is potent.  (If you’re interested in learning more about these astrological happenings, google it or consult your nearest astrologer). Sagittarius has us go, go, getting what we want. We feel an urgency and push to get the thing done. Be grounded and go at a slower pace than you normally would. We aren’t at a loss for words, but be mindful of how those words come out. Make sure you’re not communicating from a defensive or anxious place. Focus your energy on where it is best spent. Stay true to your word and what you set out to do. Where can you take chances? What is your truth? What wounds need to heal? As we prepare for a new year, be intentional in your reflections. Have you been feeling at a loss lately? Perhaps you’ve been feeling spiritually ungrounded. This month, take a look at your home, health, work, and social groups. Where are they lacking? Where can abundance be found? The 5 of Pentacles indicates a period of instability where resources feel scarce. Maybe you’re moving away from a period of hardship into a period of recovery. As we get closer to winter, you’re being encouraged to ask for help. Asking for help is hard, but it’s there for you once you do. Remember that this lack isn’t because of who you are as a person. Don’t allow capitalist or oppressive narratives to define abundance or stability for you. Scarcity is a myth. You’re entitled to what you need to survive. This won’t last long, especially with the energy of Sagittarius season pushing us to go after what we want.

The Queen of Pentacles is pragmatic, abundant, and down to earth. Areas of life such as work, health, and home are highlighted with this card. The Queen is intuitive and connected to nature. This month, view all you do with a lens of abundance and wealth. Be mindful to not overindulge or overspend though. Tap into your resourcefulness, and trust in your spirit, in your embodied power. Spend time in/with nature if possible. Fertility may also be possible; which can come in the form of  the physical body or an influx of ideas and creativity. Is there a practice you’ve been wanting to develop? What do you want to put out into the world? This month is giving you a solid “go ahead”. Feel comfort with all that  you do, it should remain at the forefront of your planning. What do you want to manifest in 2021?
