We made it to the end of 2020. I’m just as baffled by this as you are – but we’re here. Feeling the pull of Sagittarius season, getting deeper into eclipse season, awaiting the winter solstice and grand conjunction between Saturn and Jupiter on the 21st: It’s undeniable that December’s energy is potent. (If you’re interested in learning more about these astrological happenings, google it or consult your nearest astrologer). Sagittarius has us go, go, getting what we want. We feel an urgency and push to get the thing done. Be grounded and go at a slower pace than you normally would. We aren’t at a loss for words, but be mindful of how those words come out. Make sure you’re not communicating from a defensive or anxious place. Focus your energy on where it is best spent. Stay true to your word and what you set out to do. Where can you take chances? What is your truth? What wounds need to heal? As we prepare for a new year, be intentional in your reflections. Release fears or doubts that hold you back from stepping into your truth and power.

For this month’s tarot forecast, I’m pulling one card for each element: Earth, Air, Water, and Fire. Read the element that corresponds to your sun sign, and rising sign if you feel called to. Below is the element that corresponds to your sun sign. To find out your natal chart information, CafeAstrology has a pretty comprehensive chart interpretation.
Earth: Capricorn, Virgo, Taurus
Air: Libra, Aquarius, Gemini,
Water: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces
Fire: Aries, Leo, Sagitarrius
Each card interpretation also lists the numerological energy of the card and ways to channel the energy of the card. For cards that are double digits, you add to get a single digit. For example, card #13 has #4 vibrations (1+3=4).
Hold onto that which resonates. Share this with those who come to mind as you read this.

Abundance, success, and a rebirth are underway. The Sun sheds light on the areas of your life associated with desire, passion, power, and creativity. Pure radiance and unconditional love light your path. As you reflect on your growth this year, leave behind ideas, attitudes, and narratives that don’t serve you anymore. Growth is uncomfortable, but the realizations coming up for you are refreshing. Let the sun shine and warm you for what’s to come. Do things that bring you joy and freedom. Your ability to connect with your remembered self and intuition is heightened at this time. If you are open, insights will flow to you. As you celebrate making it to the end of the year, think of the different ways to step into your power. How can you bring along younger versions of yourself for the ride?

You’re being called to adjust how you step into 2021. What would your life look like if all your plans worked the way you wanted? The 2 of Wands asks you to contemplate expanding your world and contemplate a new perspective. Is it worth the risk to seek out a new experience? Are you satisfied with where you’re at? How have you been operating? How/where can you recalibrate/reconfigure? You’re being asked to balance your emotions, desires, passions, and creativity. It’s time to take responsibility and leave old, unuseful cycles behind. Release any doubts and fears you have, and be patient with yourself as you do this work. Your efforts and growth are supported, so remain grounded as you plan. What pillars of truth and righteousness will you put up/use for support in 2021?

Have you been feeling at a loss lately? Perhaps you’ve been feeling spiritually ungrounded. This month, take a look at your home, health, work, and social groups. Where are they lacking? Where can abundance be found? The 5 of Pentacles indicates a period of instability where resources feel scarce. Maybe you’re moving away from a period of hardship into a period of recovery. As we get closer to winter, you’re being encouraged to ask for help. Asking for help is hard, but it’s there for you once you do. Remember that this lack isn’t because of who you are as a person. Don’t allow capitalist or oppressive narratives to define abundance or stability for you. Scarcity is a myth. You’re entitled to what you need to survive. This won’t last long, especially with the energy of Sagittarius season pushing us to go after what we want.

The Queen of Pentacles is pragmatic, abundant, and down to earth. Areas of life such as work, health, and home are highlighted with this card. The Queen is intuitive and connected to nature. This month, view all you do with a lens of abundance and wealth. Be mindful to not overindulge or overspend though. Tap into your resourcefulness, and trust in your spirit, in your embodied power. Spend time in/with nature if possible. Fertility may also be possible; which can come in the form of the physical body or an influx of ideas and creativity. Is there a practice you’ve been wanting to develop? What do you want to put out into the world? This month is giving you a solid “go ahead”. Feel comfort with all that you do, it should remain at the forefront of your planning. What do you want to manifest in 2021?
