November Tarot Forecast: Elements

BARBARI Mindfulness, Tarot, Thoughts

As I was shuffling my deck, the Ace of Bones and 6 of Keys fell out. They are here to remind us that we have all the tools we need to do what we need to do. If this doesn’t resonate, you’re being encouraged to go out (or within) and find said tools. Our guides are supporting us in this work. Take your time, be deliberate as you envision and structure your life. The work we put in this month will be recognized and celebrated (even if it’s just you doing the celebrating). It will yield rewards. It will help boost your pride. Mars and Mercury will be direct this month (no longer retrograde), and November will reveal the directions we’re headed (as a collective) and how deep our struggle is. Your tarotscopes bring insight on how to navigate this month with a clear vision and goal. How can you integrate these messages for the betterment of yourself and your comrades?

I used the Collective Tarot for this month’s reading. Unfortunately no longer in print, the deck was illustrated by a collective of QT/POC artists. The illustrations feature dis/abled, Black, brown, Indigenous, trans, and fat bodies as well as animal imagery. Some of the Major Arcana and court cards are different than those found in traditional decks. The cards will still have a similar energy to its traditional counterpart, though the illustration and interpretation are done so in a non-gendered and non-hierarchical way. The court cards occupy knowledge-based positions instead of power-based positions (ie. queen, page, king, etc.). The suits are also changed to be more relevant to items we are familiar with today: Keys (instead of Wands), Bottles (instead of Cups), Feathers (instead of swords), and Bones (instead of Pentacles).

For your Autumn Equinox forecast, I’m pulling one card for each element: Earth, Air, Water, and Fire. Read the element that corresponds to your sun sign, and rising sign if you feel called to. Below is the element that corresponds to your sun sign. To find out your natal chart information, CafeAstrology has a pretty comprehensive chart interpretation.

Earth: Capricorn, Virgo, Taurus

Air: Libra, Aquarius, Gemini,

Water: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces

Fire: Aries, Leo, Sagitarrius

Each card interpretation also lists the numerological energy of the card and ways to channel the energy of the card. For cards that are double digits, you add to get a single digit. For example, card #13 has #4 vibrations (1+3=4).

Hold onto that which resonates. Share this with those who come to mind as you read this.

Love, relationships, and partnerships are highlighted this month. Whether you’re in a relationship, stepping into one, or single, the theme of this month for y’all is finding (or returning to) each other, gathering, and making strong fulfilling bonds. This card brings in a huge wave of love and collaboration in your partnerships – whether they are platonic or sexual: it is guided by deep understanding and mutual equity. This connection is full of potential. There is a balance between giving and receiving, between showing and expressing love. As we feel the intensity and pull of Scorpio season, you’re feeling the passion and attraction between you and this person. Indulge yourself and each other in sexual pleasure. As you move through this enveloping energy, remember to stay grounded and keep your peace. Yes, this month has a large focus on this relationship, but remember that you should be giving yourself the same love and energy you are giving to your boo. Be open and feel your way through this situation. Listen to your heart.

Damn y’all really been burning the candle at both ends! You’re tired and overworked: anxiety is wreaking havoc on your mental, physical, and spiritual health: (Let’s be real tho, what isn’t causing anxiety?) It’s time to release old coping mechanisms. You’ve been working through internalized oppressive/toxic thoughts, attitudes, ways of being, and anticipating the worst and letting those thoughts consume you. Go easy on yourself. Learn from your mistakes and move forward with the knowledge you’ve gained. Instead of using this time to jab at your past self, recognize where you were and how far you’ve come. Bring those lessons with you, leave the baggage behind. It’s scary, yes, but there is still much to learn. Ask for help, whether you’re asking spirit or your community. This work will be easier if you’ve got a clean space and have tended to your body. When’s the last time you looked at yourself in the mirror, spent time with your reflection? Reconnecting with the body helps revive our spirit. It may be difficult, but tap into the energy of Scorpio season to come back to yourself (pun intended).

Temperance shows up again for y’all, reminding you that finding the perfect balance of elements in your life is crucial. The self-work of Rebirth and transformation are not easy. It takes time and patience. Like the angel on this card, you’re combining different forces and sources to make something new and better. Try to find a balance of power and healing, of finding your center. Note that the angel also has one foot in the water and one on land. It speaks to the importance of remaining grounded while making space for your emotions and intuition. A balance between the conscious and unconscious. Creating harmony for oneself takes time, patience, practice, dedication, and discipline. November is a time to renew your energy and vigor. To heal, enjoy your well-being, recover, and flourish. A time to nurture your physical, emotional, and mental health. As you create a balance in your life, how can these aspects of your health be prioritized in all that you do? Compromise and cooperation are also necessary. If this seems difficult, slow down and let the answer come to you.

November is a time to redefine strength for yourself: physically, mentally, and emotionally. There’s no need for a power struggle with yourself. This month is about living in trust and harmony with all parts of you. Find new ways to reconnect with your gut, learn to trust and listen to your intuition on a new level. Surrender, integration, and vulnerability are key. How can you create a balance between soft and direct energies within? Be grounded while stepping into your power, build intimacy and equanimity with de-valued parts of yourself. Let go of control, ground in your self-knowledge. Make a place at the table for your instincts and feelings. Rest and provide your body with adequate sustenance. Allow yourself the space and chance for all forms of pleasure and luxury. Spend time in nature or with loved ones if you find yourself in need of external support. As you go about redefining yourself, surrender to change. Take stock of how far you’ve come. Know who you are, what you want, and why you do the things you do. These are all sources for and products of strength.
